The book comes from decades of professional experience as a pastor, researcher, community development consultant, activist, and leader. It has also been shaped by my life experiences. As I child, I lived in post-WWII France and Germany. My nanny was a Nazi. My experiences and close brush with fascism left a deep imprint on my life. I felt fascism then, and I’m feeling it now.
