COLORED

or so the label would suggest
and as i watch
where the waters crest

a clearness
flows through me

you see
i really understood
what these markers meant

mines

is not dark nor dense
a reflection of my murky tint

a constant projection

of the contraptions they invent
in an attempt
to convince
the masses
that we are
of separate classes

sure
you drink from a different spring
called white

but don’t you know
that these fountains flow
from the same pipes

which exposes the truth in life
that is always protected
through structural designs
and misleading signs
that disguise this point
for the neglected

Free: The Heart’s Call

Free: The Heart’s Call
Poetry to awaken the heart and reinvigorate the soul!

Each poem provides a new vibratory experience that guides the reader towards spiritual growth!

This book is my journey from awakening to present day. The book is meant as a catalyst for spiritual growth, the goal being to ignite the fire that lies dormant. We are all called to serve, to serve ourselves and then the world. Let this be a message to all that would choose the path of service, the true path. As each fear disintegrates we walk closer to the truth of our nature, and this is my truth.

The Candle Flame
Here we are,
after all these years.
All our fears have led us here.
Where did it go,
all of the times.
Each moment falls,
so truth can rise.
Each day a drop,
the rain so soft.
Your surface drenched,
from years distraught.
But still they drip,
each moment falls.
Through wedding bliss,
and deadly sorrow.
But here we sit,
amongst the chaos.
Our flame still lit,
the candle inside us. Free on Kindle.

Hardship and Bliss: Reflections for Mothers Who Seek Connection

Hardship and Bliss: Reflections for Mothers Who Seek Connection
Motherhood can be divinely rewarding but also extremely challenging. “Hardship and Bliss” is a collection of poems revealing the breadth of how it feels to be a mother. Magdalena Sabatino writes about this vulnerable journey, sharing joyful peak moments as well as the valleys of loneliness, exhaustion, and a crisis of identity.

The book is an invitation to consciously parent; to create deep, compassionate relationships with one’s children; and to craft lives full of meaning, joy, and peace. Magdalena’s authentic voice encourages her readers to be gentle with themselves, abandon the desire for perfection, and embrace the pleasures of being present with each other and themselves. $0.99 on Kindle.

Devil In The Wind

Devil In The Wind

Devil In The Wind is an account of catastrophic fire and its immediate aftermath.

In February 2009, wildfires burnt through entire communities, taking 173 lives and injuring hundreds, while destroying thousands of houses and other buildings. Up to 400 fires destroyed 450,000 hectares of forest, native fauna and habitat, livestock and farmland.

In the aftermath of the fires, the voices of people who had lived through the experience — victims, rescuers, and observers — were spoken and were heard.

Devil In The Wind is Frank Prem’s poetic anthology of the personal, and very human, accounts of those who themselves experienced and survived Black Saturday. Poetry writing that interacts directly with readers emotions. $3.40 on Kindle.
