Jeffrey is a dreadful person with no life, no looks and no personality. When he finally decides to change his situation, he stumbles into his local book emporium’s self help section. He picks out a painfully generic audio book title, and somehow manages to misinterpret its vague meaning, which leads him down a surprisingly dark path.
Victor is a bored, worn out small town detective. As Jeffrey leaves a trail of bodies with every self-help step he listens to, Victor is thrust into a storm of terror. With only a thin layer of confidence and a city in crisis, can he he handle the awkward killer harassing his once loved home?
